On October 9th, 2015, Ciape organised the Italian national seminar to promote RESPONS tools to all relevant stakeholders.
The one-day event saw the presence of 53 people and was organised for two different target groups.
The morning session saw the participation of VET learners (some of them already employed part-time in hotels, restaurants and bars) and staff.
The afternoon session saw the participation of other stakeholders interested in the topics.
Both sessions were opened with a presentation of the project RESPONS and its tools in details. Participants were guided on the use of each single tool by Desiree Scalia.
During the morning session, a brainstorming session has been organized. The results of the brainstorming session demonstrate that participants consider the products developed of a good quality. It is important to underline that younger participants appreciated “The Manager’s Guide to Sustainable Business”; in their opinion, ICT is a good option to acquire knowledge and skills; such tools can really capture the interest of the youngest target. During the second part the afternoon; a working table has been organized. The results of the working table demonstrate that participants consider the products developed of a good quality; therefore they can be transferred to other HORECA managers. During the working table, new project ideas in the field of tourism and involving HORECA SMEs came out.
